Imran Amir, MD, FAAD
Dr. Amir provides patients in the greater Philadelphia area effective and cutting-edge dermatological services. Dr. Amir is dedicated to providing the highest level of care while putting his patients first. He and his highly-skilled team are compassionate, respectful, friendly, and ensure that their patients receive the quality care and attention they deserve.
Dr. Amir is board-certified in both dermatology and internal medicine and is a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and a procedural dermatologist. His certification in Mohs surgery allows Dr. Amir to treat most skin cancer cases, leaving as little trace as possible of the procedure. He also specializes in treating nonsurgical skin cancers, melanoma, and most general skin diseases such as rashes, psoriasis, and eczema, among others.

Education
Dr. Amir received his training at the highly-regarded dermatology training program at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. During his residency, he received the Stelwagon Award from the College of Physicians of Philadelphia for his outstanding research projects.
After his residency, Dr. Amir trained in Mohs Micrographic and Reconstructive Surgery and cosmetic dermatologic surgery at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Medical Center in New York.
On top of his certifications and medical degree, Dr. Amir is a Diplomate of The American Board of Dermatology, The American Board of Internal Medicine; and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

Barbara Vail, MD, FAAD
Dr. Barbara Vail is a board-certified dermatologist who focuses on medical dermatology for patients aged 10 and older. She has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of acne, rashes and skin cancer. Dr. Vail is committed to ensuring that patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options, and encourages patients to become active participants in their healthcare decisions.
Dr. Vail received her medical degree from MCP-Hahnemann School of Medicine where she was inducted in the Alpha Omega Alpha academic honor society. She completed her internship and Dermatology residency training at Drexel University where she was named Chief Resident.
She holds a VMD from University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine and practiced for several years prior to entering medical school. Dr. Vail has practiced dermatology in both academic and community settings, and has been named a Philadelphia Magazine Top Doctor multiple times throughout her career.
Dr. Vail is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Bhavi Khant, MSN, CRNP, FNP-C
Bhavi Khant is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, the Dermatology Specialty Practice Group, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Bhavi attended Temple University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She began her nursing career as a Medical Surgical Trauma RN and worked in this critical role for more than 10 years at Lehigh Valley Health Network, level I trauma center. She further advanced her education at DeSales University where she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Family Health.
Bhavi strongly believes in providing patients with the best individualized dermatological care by acknowledging their unique physical situations and making them feel comfortable, respected, and confident about the care they receive. She acts as an advocate for patients by empowering them with the knowledge, skills and resources necessary to actively participate in their own care and decision-making. She strongly believes in providing patients with quality education and keeping open communication, which results in optimized patient outcomes. She is dedicated in making a difference in the life of patients and their families by taking advantage of every opportunity that will benefit their skin, hair and nail health.
